BOI promotes green economy

With the aim of achieving Thailand’s COP26 commitment and supporting sustainable development, the BOI is now promoting several measures towards green economy that help reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) such as measures to enhance efficiency, support grassroots economy, promote electric vehicles, and measures to encourage the implementation of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technology.

Promoted projects will enjoy tax incentives that vary according to measures.
